Accommodation Services provides help for all UniSA students looking for housing.
If students are unsure about the type of accommodation best suited to them, we recommend taking a look at our advice and options. After that, we can answer questions, to help them make an appropriate choice.
The Rental Database contains current advertisements for private rental accommodation, with shared and whole properties. We have not inspected the properties or screened the landlords. So, it is essential that students personally inspect the properties of interest and it is advisable that they meet potential housemates.
If using the Rental Database, we recommend that students new to Adelaide book temporary accommodation for 1- 2 weeks, allowing time to select a suitable long term option.
- Students should not pay any money until they have personally inspected the property
- Use written leases - avoid verbal agreements
- Always insist on receipts (in English) for any cash payments
- If in doubt, consult Accommodation Services staff
