Terms and conditions for providers
Users acknowledge that the Rental Database is an information exchange service only. Providers acknowledge that the University of South Australia (UniSA) does not:
- inspect or otherwise endorse properties listed on the Database
- screen or assess students for suitability as tenants
- act as an agent or negotiate on behalf of parties.
The Database is available only to students and staff of the UniSA.
Providers must ensure that all material you generate through the use of the Database is accurate, complete and not unlawful or for any improper purpose or would otherwise expose the University to any liability, legal proceedings or other sanction. Tenancies advice is available from the Tenancies Branch of the Office of Consumer and Business Services.
The University does not guarantee the availability or accessibility of the Database or the Service or that access to the Database will be free of defects, viruses or errors.
The University is under no obligation to assist accommodation providers and reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to refuse or to remove any listing from the Database, or to edit, add to or to vary any listing information on the Database at any time without explanation or notice.
Any listing will generally be advertised for two weeks, after which time, listings will automatically be deactivated from the Database. If you wish to continue to advertise the housing, you will need to relist.
Listings are to be for currently available accommodation only and will be deactivated by the provider once the vacancy is filled.
Street numbers are collected for administrative purposes only and will not be released to the public.
You agree to indemnify and hold the University, its officers, employees ('those indemnified') and agents harmless against any direct or consequential liabilities, losses, damages, expenses and costs incurred or suffered by any of those indemnified as a result of any claim or proceedings brought by a third party against those indemnified in connection with any material generated by you in connection with the Database.
You hereby release UniSA to use data collected through your use of this Database for its internal reporting, planning and research purposes.
